We are looking for a talented and creative 3D Modeler to join our team! You will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D Models, Textures, and Assets for characters, environments and props. Key Responsibilities: 3D Modeling: Create high-quality 3D models for characters, environments, props, and other assets based on concept art or reference materials. Use industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max) to create models with attention to topology, edge flow, and UV mapping. Work with sculpting tools (ZBrush, Mudbox) to generate detailed and organic shapes when necessary. Ensure that all models are optimized for performance without compromising visual quality. Texturing: Design and apply textures (e.g., diffuse, normal, specular, and roughness maps) to 3D models using software like Substance Painter, Photoshop, or Mari. Create detailed, high-resolution textures that are also optimized for real-time applications. Use a variety of techniques, including hand-painting, photo-bashing, and procedural texture generation, to achieve realistic or stylized effects. Collaboration: Work closely with art directors, designers, and other artists to align models and textures with the overall art style and vision. Participate in team discussions to solve design challenges and ensure the art is consistent across the project. Communicate effectively with other departments, such as rigging, animation, and programming, to ensure models and textures are production-ready. Skills Qualifications: Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, etc.). Strong experience with texturing software (Substance Painter, Photoshop, Mari, etc.). Knowledge of UV mapping, PBR (Physically-Based Rendering) workflows, and various texturing techniques. Experience with real-time engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine. Understanding of lighting and rendering techniques for both real-time and pre-rendered graphics. Artistic Skills: A strong understanding of anatomy, proportions, and structure for character modeling (if applicable). Good eye for detail, texture, color, and material properties. Ability to follow concept art and reference material while contributing creatively to the design process.
