You are invited to join our team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)/DevOps Engineer to spearhead reliability and automation efforts for various critical projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing tasks such as database health assessments, infrastructure preparation for load testing, chaos-engineering frameworks, and ensuring identity provider (IDP) environment consistency. We are looking for a versatile full-stack SRE professional who excels in coding, architecture design, and managing operations at scale. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and managing AWS infrastructure components like RDS, EventBridge, Lambda, and Fault Injection Service (FIS) in alignment with industry best practices. - Developing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to establish reproducible environments. - Creating and integrating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to automate testing, deployments, and conducting chaos engineering drills. - Crafting automation scripts and command-line tools for tasks such as snapshot validation, load-test orchestration, and smoke testing. - Defining monitoring, alerting, and incident-response workflows; taking ownership of on-call rotations and runbook creation. - Ensuring adherence to compliance standards such as FedRAMP requirements. Qualifications we are looking for: - A minimum of 10 years of experience in roles related to Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering. - Profound knowledge of AWS services, particularly RDS, Lambda, EventBridge, and Fault Injection Service. - Proficiency in Terraform and/or CloudFormation for Infrastructure-as-Code implementation. - Strong scripting abilities in Python or Bash, with familiarity in Node.js considered a plus. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions. - Sound understanding of monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch. - Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and adept documentation capabilities. Preferred qualifications include experience with chaos-engineering tools (e.g., AWS FIS, Gremlin, LitmusChaos), familiarity with identity systems and FedRAMP compliance controls, knowledge of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or ECS, and a background in database operations and disaster-recovery strategies. Education Requirements: - B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
