You will be responsible for designing and developing advanced automotive instrument clusters from concept to production. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will define system requirements, specifications, and architecture. Utilizing CAD software like UGNx, you will create schematics, layouts, and 3D models. Testing and validating parts at both vehicle and part levels to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards will be a crucial part of your role. Additionally, you will provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams during production. You will need to continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to keep our designs competitive. Analyzing quality issues and implementing countermeasures, as well as managing projects and coordinating with suppliers, will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have a good knowledge of ICs, Digital Clusters & Digital Cockpits systems. Familiarity with automotive safety standards such as AIS, IS11827, ECE, ISO 26262 is essential. Proficiency in DMU/CAD data preparation/checking in UGNx, working exposure of GUI tools like Qt, CGI studio, and experience with development on SoC & Microcontroller platforms are required. You should have experience with the complete lifecycle of design and development for at least one part/model. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential. You should also be able to coordinate department activities and represent them in various forums. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are necessary for this role. For eligibility, a B.E / B. Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Automobile is essential. Basic understanding and knowledge of automotive electrical architecture, electronics parts like Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Display (HUD), sensors like speed, and temperature, as well as hardware circuit understanding of these electronics parts are desirable. Knowledge of part packaging and layouting in CAD, GUI development, optics & display technologies like LCD & TFT, SOR & Spec creation, and testing & validation for the mentioned parts are also advantageous. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.,
