As a CFX Artist, you will be responsible for delivering photo-realistic, high-quality production hair and cloth simulations and other realistic 3D visual effects. Your key responsibilities will include running simulations for shot production, troubleshooting, and providing revisions based on feedback, modeling shot and/or cleaning existing hair/cloth simulations, supporting pipeline animation principles, timing, and departmental interdependencies, as well as communicating and partnering with the CFX department for updates and general status. To qualify for this role, you must have a minimum of three (3) years of CFX simulation experience in live-action visual effects for feature films or similar production environments. You should have experience delivering complete milestones/tasks under tight deadlines, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, have an eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player. Additionally, being a quick learner with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities is essential. Preferred qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, as well as proficiency in Maya, Python, and Mel Script.
