Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Medical Coder based in Unnao. The Certified Medical Coder will be responsible for reviewing patient medical records and assigning accurate diagnostic, procedural, and billing codes in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Other daily tasks include ensuring coding accuracy and compliance, supporting accurate billing processes, and coordinating with healthcare professionals to clarify medical information, as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Coding and in-depth knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Coding experience and familiarity with widely accepted industry practices
- Certified as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or equivalent credentials
- Expertise in Health Information Management processes is highly desirable
- Attention to detail, ability to maintain accuracy, and strong organizational skills
- Experience with medical billing software and health insurance claims is a plus
