Job Title: Fundraising Manager– Certified Listeners Society (CLS) India Location: India (On-site Delhi and/or Remote – TBD) Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: ₹180,000 – ₹220,000/month, base salary + performance bonus (commensurate with experience and fit) Reports to: Country Lead – CLS India Team: Leads a team focused on volunteer engagement, outreach, fundraising, and program delivery support Position Overview The Fundraising Manager will play a pivotal leadership role in scaling Certified Listeners Society (CLS) India’s fundraising programs. This position will drive resource mobilization through: ● Volunteer-powered Peer-to-Peer Fundraising (40%) ● Face-to-Face Donor Acquisition (30%) ● Institutional Philanthropy & CSR Partnerships (20%) ● Government Grants (10%) This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and on-the-ground execution. The manager will design scalable systems, inspire thousands of volunteers, build donor confidence, and secure institutional funding to sustain CLS India’s mission of advancing emotional wellness and breaking cycles of dysfunction. Key Responsibilities 1) Peer-to-Peer Volunteer Fundraising Program (Primary Focus – 40%) ● Lead and oversee fundraising activities of up to 6,000 volunteers annually (500 per month) through CLS India’s iMPACT365 program. ● Design volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and training frameworks tailored to peer-to-peer fundraising. ● Implement performance tracking systems and administer 10% performance-based bonus payouts for top volunteers. ● Partner with Marketing and Operations to deliver fundraising toolkits, campaign landing pages, messaging templates, and dashboards. ● Optimize retention, engagement, and fundraising outcomes across monthly volunteer cohorts. ● Establish recognition systems, leaderboards, and storytelling platforms to celebrate volunteer success. 2) Face-to-Face Fundraising Program (30%) ● Develop and implement a high-impact F2F strategy to acquire recurring monthly donors in key urban hubs. ● Recruit, train, and manage in-person fundraising teams to deliver results in malls, events, and public spaces. ● Create compelling outreach scripts, branded visuals, and donor engagement materials. ● Track key metrics: donor conversions, average donation size, churn rates, and retention. ● Ensure real-time data capture and CRM integration for transparency and reporting. 3) Institutional Fundraising & Donor Development (20%) ● Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate CSR teams, philanthropic foundations, and international donors. ● Maintain a live database of CSR contacts, grant cycles, and engagement status. ● Draft and submit compelling proposals, pitches, and progress reports to institutional donors. ● Represent CLS India in high-level meetings with philanthropists, corporate leaders, and aid agencies. ● Align donor engagement and reporting with Canadian HQ compliance standards. 4) Government Grant Acquisition (10%) ● Identify, track, and pursue relevant national, state, and local government funding opportunities. ● Prepare detailed applications, including budgets, compliance, and program frameworks. ● Foster working relationships with government officers and program administrators. ● Monitor grant deliverables and ensure timely submission of reports and renewal applications. Qualifications & Experience ● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Non-profit Management, Social Impact, Business, Communications, or related field.10+ years of progressive experience in fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit development. ● Demonstrated success managing large-scale fundraising campaigns with peer-to-peer and grassroots elements. ● Proven ability to secure CSR funding, philanthropic partnerships, and institutional grants in India. ● Strong understanding of FCRA, CSR law (Companies Act 2013), and compliance frameworks. ● Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce or equivalent), fundraising software, and data analysis. ● Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in regional Indian languages a plus. ● Comfortable managing volunteer incentive payouts, data systems, and reporting workflows. ● Ability to travel extensively across India; occasional international travel as required.
