Job Description

In this role as a Certification Manager for Power Product Breakers at Schneider Electric, your primary responsibility will be to manage product conformity assessment. You will collaborate with internal teams and national and international Certification Bodies to ensure offer compliance, facilitate market access, and enhance Schneider Electric's competitive differentiation. Specifically, you will focus on obtaining certificates and declarations of Conformity for Breakers (MCCB). Your key responsibilities will include: - Planning, monitoring, and executing conformity assessment activities in alignment with relevant standards (such as IEC 60947 series, UL 60947 series, UL489) and statutory requirements (including LVD, EMC, RED, ATEX, Blue Guide). - Providing consultation to Offer Owners for national, international, or segment-specific market access (e.g., Marine Segment). - Collaborating with internal teams like the League and Squad to maintain offer compliance. - Working closely with the Standardization and Influencing team. - Coordinating with Certification Bodies. - Supporting the Business with specific compliance requests. - Managing evolution and alerts related to changes in statutory requirements. As an ideal candidate, you should hold a degree in HW, Mechanical, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The following competencies are essential: - Soft skills such as agility, curiosity, organization, rigor, resilience, and diplomacy. - Proficiency in applying Statutory Instruments and Standards. - Knowledge of conformity assessment for national and international markets. - Understanding of the offer and its technology is advantageous. - Fluency in English is mandatory. If you do not fully possess these competencies yet, a training plan will be established to support your professional development.
