Dialysis technicians are responsible for assembling and maintaining dialysis machines, monitoring patients undergoing dialysis treatment, and maintaining the highest safety and cleanliness standards when operating the machines, among other duties Responsibilities: Setting up and operating dialysis machines Collect and assess the patient’s chart and vitals Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment Priming dialyzer and bloodlines for dialysis procedure Recording patient’s vital signs, weight, and information about the dialysis treatment Cleaning and sterilizing the dialysis machines after each use Educate patients and their families about kidney disease, dialysis treatment, and lifestyle adjustments Coordinate with healthcare team for patient care Ordering, stocking, and maintaining necessary supplies for dialysis procedures Follow biomedical waste disposal protocols Follow infection control policies and procedures Skill Required Knowledge of dialysis treatment and care Understanding of safety and sanitation standards and procedures Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to handle stressful situations and emergencies Dialysis Technician certification At least one year experience on relevant job.
