Ceph Storage Operator / Ceph Administrator!
Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)
Duration: Contract
We’re looking for a skilled Ceph Storage Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize large-scale distributed storage systems. If you’re experienced in Ceph clusters and passionate about ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability — we’d love to connect!
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, and manage Ceph clusters (RADOS, RBD, CephFS, RGW)
Monitor and maintain cluster health and availability
Troubleshoot OSDs, MONs, MDS, and RGW components
Perform upgrades, scaling, and patching of Ceph environments
Automate operations with Bash/Python/Ansible
Work with Kubernetes, OpenStack, or Proxmox (preferred)
Requirements:
2–3+ years of hands-on experience with Ceph
Strong Linux admin and networking background
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Solid troubleshooting and scripting skills
