Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Kochi for a Store Manager at Centreal Bazaar. The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, managing staff, creating work schedules, and developing and implementing merchandising strategies. The Store Manager will also ensure that the store meets its sales goals, and that customers receive exceptional service. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management experience in a high-volume retail store Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies and motivate staff to increase sales Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions to drive business success Experience with employee scheduling, staff management, and performance management Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Point-of-Sale (POS) software Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is a plus A customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service A willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Description We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our retail supermarket. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent business acumen, and hands-on experience in managing store teams, inventory, customer service, and overall store performance. Role & responsibilities Store Operations & Customer Service Ensure smooth daily store operations, including opening and closing. Maintain high standards of customer service and handle escalations. Monitor stock availability, refill gaps, and ensure proper product display. Oversee hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards inside the store. Sales, Revenue & Performance Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Monitor KPIs such as footfall, ATV, UPT, conversion, shrinkage, etc. Drive promotions, campaigns, and in-store offers effectively. Inventory & Stock Control Manage stock levels, ordering, GRN, RTV, and ageing control. Conduct regular stock audits and minimize shrinkage. Coordinate with warehouse/DC and suppliers for timely replenishment. Team Leadership & People Management Lead, motivate, and develop store staff. Prepare duty rosters, manage attendance, leaves, and weekly offs. Conduct on-job training and ensure adherence to store SOPs. Evaluate performance and maintain discipline in the team. Cash, Finance & Compliance Oversee billing, cash handling, and daily cash reconciliation. Ensure compliance with all company SOPs and audit standards. Monitor expenses, wastage, and resource optimization. Preferred candidate profile 3-7 years experience in retail operations Prior experience as Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager/Department manager Strong understanding of daily store operations, cash management, inventory control, and shrinkage prevention Capable of monitoring KPIs and driving sales performance Ability to train staff on customer service, product knowledge, and store SOPs.
