About us: At Openhouse, we are building a network of premium play based learning centres across Bangalore. Our learning centres offer preschool, childcare, and co-curricular activities for ages 1-10 years. We believe that modern parents are seeking professionally run schools that are child-centric, have quality infrastructure, and follow global pedagogies. Our schools are different from traditional K-12 schools or preschools. We are building learning hubs (micro-schools) at a neighborhood level where parents can send children for play school, nursery, kindergarten, and a range of co-curricular activities from music to art, chess to robotics. About the Role: As the Centre Coordinator at our learning center, you embody the essence of operational excellence and warm hospitality. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that the center operates seamlessly, prioritizing the safety, satisfaction, and engagement of our students and their parents. Through your meticulous attention to detail and your passion for creating a welcoming environment, you will play a key role in supporting the center's growth. Key Responsibilities: Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with existing parents, engaging in learning-focused conversations that reinforce their commitment to our center. Parent Acquisition and Engagement: Assist in new parent acquisitions by providing center tours, facilitating Parent-Teacher Meetings, and highlighting the value of our educational offerings to prospective parents. Inventory and Procurement Management: Oversee the center and classroom inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and procured efficiently to support an uninterrupted learning experience. Hospitality & Event Management: Champion the creation and maintenance of a hospitable, warm, and inclusive center environment, ensuring that all visitors and members of our community feel welcomed and valued. Host community events and ensure that everyone coming to Openhouse has a spectacular experience. Center Flow and Safety: Manage the implementation and adherence to safety protocols, including ID card tracking and distribution. Enforce designated zones for parents and children, ensuring a safe and organized environment. Housekeeping Oversight: Ensure the center maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, overseeing housekeeping efforts to create a pristine learning environment. Student Attendance: Supervise the accurate marking of student attendance and in identifying reasons for absence, playing a critical role in tracking and supporting student engagement. The Ideal Candidate: Please note - We typically only hire women for these roles. Experience: A minimum of one year's experience in a role focused on hospitality, customer service, sales, or center management. Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to manage operational tasks efficiently, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Communication: Exceptional communication skills, capable of building strong relationships and conveying the center's values and expectations clearly to all stakeholders. Leadership: Ability to lead by example, fostering a culture of respect, safety, and community within the center. Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively with the center team, contributing to a cohesive and supportive work environment. Things to note about the role: This role involves working on weekends. We work 6 days a week with one weekday off.,
