Key Responsibilities 1. Requirement Elicitation & Analysis o Collaborate with manufacturing clients to understand operational workflows (e.g. production planning, inventory management, quality control) o Translate business needs into functional specifications for software development teams 2. Techno-Functional Solution Design o Map client processes to system capabilities (e.g. shop floor data integration, OEE tracking) o Participate in giving inputs to configure and customize software modules (e.g. ERP, MES, PLM) to align with manufacturing processes 3. System Implementation & Testing o Conduct gap analysis between client requirements and existing software features o Participate in developing test cases for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate solutions against manufacturing use cases 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration o Work with developers, QA teams and project managers to ensure timely delivery o Train end-users (e.g. production managers, quality teams) on system functionalities 5. Post-Implementation Support o Troubleshoot issues related to production scheduling, material traceability or reporting o Recommend process improvements using data analytics and system insights Qualifications Functional Expertise: Must 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing domain projects (e.g. process industries, discrete manufacturing) Understanding of key manufacturing concepts: o Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or TQM o Production workflows (BOM, routing, shop floor control) o Quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) Technical Skills: Preferred Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) or MES platforms Knowledge of SQL, data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau) and API integrations Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence) Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication to liaise with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders Ability to create process flow diagrams and functional documentation Preferred Qualifications BE Preferred Exposure to IoT/IIoT applications in manufacturing Certification in APICS CPIM, Six Sigma Green Belt or ERP modules (e.g. SAP PP/QM) preferred Show more Show less
