Reporting to: Operation Manager
Location: Access Life Centre (As designated by the Management). This post is transferrable to any of the AL centers (RESIDENTIAL JOB)
Language - English, Assamese, Bengali
Major Responsibilities:
1. Offer Care/ Support to Kids/ Families staying at the Centre(s). This is the primary mission of AL.
2. Ensure that all the SOPs pertaining to their center/ area are being followed.
3. Should greet/ offer water/ be courteous to all the Visitors/ Guests/ Donors who visit their center.
4. Should wish and thank all the Visitors/ Guests/ Donors who visit their center. Take photos of the Visitors/ Guests/ Donors with the families/kids and upload/ send in the right groups.
5. Maintain the Visitor register and send snapshots regularly.
6. Shall assist as required in Volunteer programs and support Volunteers coming to their centers.
7. Take care of their personal grooming – wear clean, neat clothes and be presentable when outside their residential units.
8. Take special care that Hygiene practices at the center are followed at all times. Should ensure that there is no lapse in this responsibility.
9. Should monitor that no Non-Veg food is prepared/served at the center for the kids/ families and oneself. Also, no Alcohol/ Gutkha, intoxicant substances are allowed as these are strictly prohibited in the premises. The Centre Coordinators themselves should set an example for this so that others can follow the same. (Only boiled eggs for kids, based on the advice of treating doctors will be permitted)
10. Centre (esp. washrooms) have to be kept clean and well maintained at all the time.
11. Plan the schedule and supervise the House keeping staff who visit the centers for daily cleanliness. CC shall guide them and take responsibility, as required.
12. Shall maintain, report and follow-up for regular payments of Utility Bills/ Petty cash associated with the Centre they are in-charge of.
13. Shall maintain a record of the Monthly Height/ Weight of the kids at their center.
14. Shall offer full support of giving information/ pictures/ details for case studies.
15. Update the CM on the requirements of Ration/ Vegetables/ Fruits/ other items and handle inventory when received.
16. Shall maintain the records, reports and handle distribution of grocery/ toiletries to all the families at the center.
17. Shall maintain daily updated records of all the Empty/ Occupied Units at their center and report regularly as needed.
18. Shall immediately report incidents/ issues by mail/ Wapp and/or telephone, of all significant occurrences at or outside their center and which are related to the families. Guidance on what all and how they have to be reported, will be offered by the reporting officers.
19. Shall take pictures of Meal Mate programs and events conducted at their center.
20. Shall be responsible for giving Toilet/ Hand wash/ Hygiene training to all the families at their center.
21. Maintain a ready updated list of all emergency contacts like Police/ Fire brigade/ Doctor/ Ambulance/ Plumber/ Carpenter/ etc. That is displayed and easily available to all.
22. Shall assist in safe upkeep, handling, and servicing of all equipment, products, water purifier, fridge, washing machine, TV, CCTV, firefighting equipment, etc. existing at the center.
23. Assist in planning, organizing, follow-up, etc. of all AL events/ programs/ activities
25. Shall update and coordinate Hospital trips of the families. Facilitate their transport to hospitals in emergency situations, as per the policy.
26. Shall assist in E-Tours which shall be conducted regularly as per the guidance offered by reporting officers.
27. Shall maintain a Temperature/ SpO2 Register for all the families, kids and themselves during the COVID-19 situation.
28. Shall supervise any activity taking place at the center including Pest control, internet, gas supply, other Services, visits of MCGM Officials, etc.
29. Shall ensure confidentiality of all AL data, kids/ family information, pictures, financial information, official communication, etc. as mandated by AL policy.
30. Handle any other work /task as assigned by the CM/ reporting officers/ management, from time to time.
Reporting, Documentation, etc.
1. Prepare and maintain Visitors’ Log.
2. Maintaining the Data for temperature, SpO2, etc. carried out daily.
3. Maintain the Monthly Weight/ Height Data for all the kids present at their center.
4. Manage inventory of groceries, toiletries, etc. at the center
Duty Hours, Rest pauses and Meal breaks
The Daily schedule of the Centre coordinators including Meal Breaks is as given below, From 6:30 am to 8:00 am on duty
From 8:00 am to 10:00 am off time From 10:00 am to 14:00 pm on duty
From 14:00 pm to 16:00 pm off time (Lunch + Rest) From 16:00 pm to 19:00 pm on duty (Visitors)
The above mentioned timings is subject to the situation at that particular center. It can change as per the circumstances and the nature/ priority of work at hand.
Weekly Off
The Weekly off for Centre Coordinator will be a week day (not weekend) and is fixed. They are required to follow the same schedule. Weekly Off means that they can take the day off and can step outside the Centre but have to return back to the centre before night fall. In their absence, a temporary arrangement will be made in regards to taking the responsibility of that centre. In case of work Emergencies / Training / Official meetings, etc. falling on their weekly off day, the same can be adjusted after getting prior approval from the Centre Manager in consultation with the HR Department. Centre Coordinators are required to apply through the Employee Leave application form to adjust and avail of their weekly off and compensatory offs, as per laid out procedure.
