Education -Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Experience - 5+ years. Job Responsibilities Responsible for 3D modelling of battery parts and assemblies in UGNX. Creation of 2D part drawings and assembly drawings. Teamcenter working & GUI. Co-ordinate with cross functional teams like component development, vehicle integration etc... and resolve DFM / DFA comments. Get parts made in collaboration with Prototype team. Part assembly function & coordination with testing. Technical/ Functional Domain Knowledge of battery & cell technology and components. Strong understanding of manufacturing of Aluminum PDC, plastics & sheet metal components. Strong understanding of coordinate geometry, packaging, fits & tolerances in assembly, friction & torqueing, bolting application. Basic level electrical understanding for electrical connections and experience in battery application. Software skills: UGNX, Teamcenter, Microsoft office.
