Job Description: As a Cosmos SDK Blockchain Developer with over 2 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable, decentralized systems using blockchain technology. Your primary responsibility will involve developing and maintaining decentralized applications (dApps) utilizing Cosmos SDK and other relevant blockchain technologies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the integration of Cosmos SDK-based applications with other blockchains through IBC. You will be instrumental in the development of new features for blockchain protocols and platforms, working on consensus mechanisms, governance models, and network enhancements. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing Cosmos SDK applications and blockchain solutions. Additionally, you will stay abreast of the latest advancements in the blockchain space, particularly within the Cosmos ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) using Cosmos SDK and other blockchain technologies. - Design, implement, and test smart contracts on Cosmos-based chains. - Collaborate with internal teams to integrate Cosmos SDK-based applications with other blockchains via IBC. - Contribute to designing and developing new features for blockchain platforms. - Work on blockchain consensus, governance models, and network upgrades. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Cosmos SDK applications and blockchain solutions. - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and problem-solving sessions. - Stay updated on the latest developments in the blockchain space, particularly in the Cosmos ecosystem. Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with Cosmos SDK and the broader Cosmos ecosystem. - Blockchain Expertise: Strong understanding of blockchain principles, consensus algorithms, smart contracts, and cryptographic principles. - Programming Skills: Proficient in Go (Golang) with additional experience in Rust, JavaScript, or Python. - Cosmos SDK: In-depth knowledge of Cosmos SDK, Tendermint Core, and IBC for building and deploying applications. - Decentralized Systems: Familiarity with developing and scaling decentralized applications and infrastructure. - Smart Contracts: Experience in smart contract development and deployment within Cosmos or other blockchain ecosystems. - Version Control: Proficient in Git with exposure to CI/CD tools. - Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills to address technical challenges. - Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly. Nice-to-Have Skills: - Experience with Ethereum, Polkadot, or Solana blockchain ecosystems. - Knowledge of blockchain security practices and securing decentralized systems. - Familiarity with Web3 technologies like Metamask, IPFS, or Web3.js. - Contribution to open-source blockchain projects or the Cosmos ecosystem.
