As an Offer Quality Leader, you will be tasked with the responsibility of developing, implementing, and enhancing quality systems and processes to ensure that all New Product Development (NPD) and Engineered-to-Order (ETO) projects not only meet but exceed customer expectations while adhering to industry standards. Your role will involve spearheading quality initiatives throughout the product lifecycle, from design phases to field performance evaluations, with a focus on integrating robust quality assurance practices at every step. Your key responsibilities will include designing and improving quality systems in alignment with organizational and industry benchmarks, devising audit schemes to validate the efficacy of quality methods vis--vis project goals, overseeing quality assurance for NPD and ETO undertakings to guarantee compliance with customer and regulatory prerequisites, as well as applying quality standards to various cooling products like chillers, CRAC, and CDU systems. Collaboration with design and supplier teams to ensure quality compliance in new part development, conducting quality design reviews based on manufacturing and field data, formulating DFMEA, and defining CTQ and CTP parameters will also fall within your purview. Moreover, you will be expected to enforce adherence to pertinent design and quality standards such as IEC, IEEE, ASHRAE, ISO, ASME, UL, and PED, stay abreast of regulatory and customer-specific quality requirements, foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, and institute project-specific guidelines, specifications, and quality control processes to promote a culture of quality and proactive troubleshooting across the organization. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the HVAC or cooling product sectors. Proficiency in cooling systems, strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, familiarity with international standards, excellent communication and collaboration skills, adept problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders are essential traits required for this position. This is a full-time position requiring a substantial background in quality assurance and project quality management, specifically in the context of NPD and ETO projects within the HVAC or cooling product industries.
