Job Description: CDP – Snacks & Sweets

Role Overview:
Responsible for preparing and producing a variety of Indian snacks and sweets while maintaining taste, quality, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook snacks (kachori, samosa, pakoda, mixture, chips, etc.) and sweets (laddu, halwa, burfi, jalebi, etc.).
  • Follow standard recipes to maintain consistent taste, texture, and quality.
  • Oversee frying, shaping, mixing, and finishing processes.
  • Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products.
  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
  • Check raw material quality and report shortages.
  • Train and guide commis staff when needed.
  • Meet daily production targets and maintain logs.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years experience in snacks/sweets production or Indian mithai kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of frying techniques, sugar stages, and traditional recipes.
  • Ability to work in high-volume production environments.
  • Good hygiene practices and time management skills.
