Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed assessments of clients" current data governance capabilities, evaluating practices, quality, and maturity levels. You will facilitate workshops to gather requirements from stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client priorities. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as IT, Legal, Risk, Compliance, etc., to establish governance roles and responsibilities within client organizations is essential. Your active participation in business development activities will contribute to the growth of the data governance practice. Managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project delivery will be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess in-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA, DCAM) and regulatory standards (e.g., PDPL, NDMO). Strong expertise in data management tools like Oval Edge, Informatica, Alation, and Microsoft Purview is required. A proven track record in managing data governance projects across various industries is essential. Experience in developing data strategies, catalogs, dictionaries, and stewardship programs will be beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical implementation and results are necessary. Holding a CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) certification is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are crucial for this role.
