Website Link: https://icengg.com Position: BIM Manager-MEP Location:Noida Department: BIM & Digital Delivery Role Overview The BIM Manager will be the technical authority responsible for setting up, implementing, and enforcing BIM processes and standards across all projects. This role involves managing multi-disciplinary models, ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 and project-specific Employers Information Requirements (EIR), and driving advanced digital delivery through 3D, 4D, and 5D BIM workflows . The BIM Manager will lead a team of coordinators and modelers, act as the interface between project stakeholders, and ensure models are accurate, data-rich, and suitable for design, coordination, construction, and FM use. Key Responsibilities BIM Standards & Implementation Develop and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEP) , Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP), and Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP). Ensure adherence to ISO 19650, PAS 1192 , and client-specific BIM protocols. Define modeling standards (LOD/LOI matrices, naming conventions, file structures). Establish Common Data Environment (CDE) setup and governance for projects (Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Aconex, etc.). Model Development & Coordination Manage 3D model creation, coordination, and federated models across Architecture, Structure, and MEP disciplines. Oversee clash detection and resolution using Navisworks Manage, Solibri, or similar. Validate model geometry and embedded data against project requirements. Support 4D (time-linked) and 5D (cost-linked) model integration with planning and cost tools (Synchro, Navisworks Timeliner, CostX, Vico). Data & Quality Management Perform model audits and health checks to ensure compliance with project standards. Validate IFC exports and ensure interoperability with multiple platforms. Maintain structured data environments ensuring COBie / IFC compliance for handover. Implement QA/QC workflows for all digital deliverables. Technology & Process Innovation Identify automation opportunities using Dynamo, Grasshopper, or scripting (Python, C#) . Support integration of BIM with GIS, Digital Twin, IoT, AR/VR, and Facility Management systems . Evaluate emerging BIM platforms and recommend adoption strategies. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement Lead, mentor, and technically upskill BIM coordinators and modelers. Facilitate design coordination workshops with multidisciplinary teams. Act as BIM lead in client and consultant meetings, ensuring alignment of digital delivery. Coordinate with IT on hardware and software optimization for BIM workflows . Required Technical Skills: Expert in Autodesk Revit (Architecture, Structure, MEP) and Navisworks Manage . Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM 360/ACC, Solibri, Synchro, Dynamo, Rhino/Grasshopper . Strong understanding of IFC schemas, COBie, and openBIM standards . Experience with 4D scheduling tools (Synchro, Navisworks Timeliner) and 5D cost tools (CostX, iTWO). Knowledge of point cloud processing (Recap, Leica Cyclone, Faro Scene) for Scan-to-BIM workflows. Familiar with ISO 19650 CDE requirements and data security protocols. Advantage: Exposure to precast modeling workflows, modular construction, and parametric families . Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors/Masters degree in Architecture, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering . 8+ years of experience in BIM, with at least 3 years in a managerial/lead role . Proven delivery of large-scale infrastructure and building projects using BIM. Strong knowledge of international BIM frameworks ( UK BIM Level 2, ISO 19650, AIA BIM Protocols ). Preferred Attributes: Ability to drive technical excellence while managing deadlines. Strong documentation and reporting skills (model audit reports, clash reports, progress dashboards). Experience in client-facing BIM presentations and workshops . Ability to handle multiple projects in different geographies and time zones .
