You will be joining the elite North America hardware application engineering team at Cadence, working closely with top AEs, PEs, and R&D professionals in the EDA industry. In this role, you will directly report to the North America Verification Field Applications Engineering (FAE) Team while being co-located in India with our R&D teams. Your primary focus will be serving as a leading product expert on advanced FPGA-based prototyping, specifically focusing on Cadence's Protium X3 system. Your responsibilities will involve driving differentiated HW emulation solutions at industry-leading semiconductor and system companies in North America, bridging the gap between customers, North America AEs, and R&D teams. Key Responsibilities: - Take on technical leadership for Protium compiler flow and become the go-to expert for the North America field AE team. - Provide detailed technical assistance in collaboration with R&D to support advanced Protium-based flows for securing design wins. - Advocate for customer needs and collaborate closely with R&D in India to develop competitive and innovative technical solutions. - Possess strong experience in FPGA-based emulation or prototyping. - Proficiency in portioning for Xilinx FPGAs and analyzing bottlenecks to performance. - Understanding of interface bring-up on FPGA platforms such as PCIe and DDR. - Familiarity with SystemVerilog, VHDL, Verilog, C/C++, and SystemC. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge communication channels between external customers, NA FAE team, and internal R&D teams. - Strong teamwork skills. - Minimum of 12 years of industry experience.
