Mark V, Mark VI& Mark VIe Control software upgrading and modification. Control software coding as per standards and contractual requirements. All software to be demonstrated and approved by technical leader. Review of control philosophy, P&I diagram, instruments list, flow chart. Review and report all device discrepancies between P&IDs, signal lists and other relevant inputs before software implementation. Data link configuration. Cimplicity screen configuration and testing Software Acceptance Test (SWAT). Controls software Modifications for Power Generation Steam Turbine, HRSG & BOP HMI Screens Modifications for Power Generation Projects TIL Implementations. Review Customer requirements/Specifications and work with stakeholders/customers to meet/clarify specs. Write, Test & develop requirements for application code and failure mode driven validation methodologies Provide Start Up, Remote Commissioning support and work with experts on issue resolution Work Experience Required Skills (Technical Competency): Good knowledge on TOOLBOX ST, CIMPLICITY for Steam Turbine and Plant Controls Excellent communication interpersonal skills. Proven experience in writing controls logic using ladder logic/statement list/block logic diagrams, PLC/DCS Engineering Experience with MKVIe, & ToolboxST Strong communication, presentation and project management skills Experience working in global, matrixed organizations and ability to make good timely decisions based on data Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing to meet business objectives. Self-starter who can accept broad-based assignments Desired Skills: SCADA: CIMPLICITY. Role & responsibilities 1. The Shift Operator Engineer has responsibilities of conducting periodic walk-through throughout the plant monitoring and documenting operating plant data and advice Control Room Engineer of any problems requiring immediate corrective actions 2. He will also assist under the direction of Shift Manager in restoring or isolating various plant systems in a safe manner and within the operating constraints procedures. 3. Coordinate field operational functions closely with the Control Room Engineer and Shift Manager. 4. Periodically walk-through Plant and monitor/document status of all plant systems. 5. Responding to alarms or abnormalities by reporting to Control Room Engineer or Shift Manager and taking appropriate actions as required. 6. Take directions from Shift Manager in isolation and restoration of plant equipment and systems as per operational procedures. 7. Assist Control Room Engineer in a manner that the plant operates safely and efficiently as per approved procedures. 8. Perform work in strict compliance with the Environmental Sustainability, Health and Safety Management System Rules and operating procedures and routines. 9. Ensure that Plant assets are properly maintained and functionally available and preserved during shutdown. Preferred candidate profile - Qualification & Experience: BE/ B. Tech (Mechanical & Electrical) with 2 to 5 years of experience. [preference to be given to BOE Qualified & NPTI] - Ready for fieldwork
