We are currently seeking a System Engineer (Projects) - Railway Infrastructure to contribute to the development of smart-mobility solutions. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the travel experience for individuals by innovating and implementing intelligent mobility solutions. Your new role will be challenging and future-oriented, focusing on the following key responsibilities: - Predominantly working on Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) projects in a senior capacity. - Defining, creating, leading, and delivering solutions to customers. - Coordinating with key project stakeholders to ensure alignment in project delivery within specified budgets and timelines. - Evaluating customer requirements and preparing System Requirements Specifications (SRS). - Assuming technical responsibility for system architecture and concept in customer projects. - Collaborating with various project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination. - Analyzing user requirements, resolving discrepancies, and clarifying requirements with customers. - Consulting with project managers on system and architecture issues to develop optimal system concepts. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Good understanding and knowledge of railway principles and standards. - Familiarity with Systems Engineering lifecycle. - Excellent communication skills, teamwork abilities, self-motivation, and goal orientation. - Proficiency in all processes at the System and Subsystem level. - Demonstrated leadership qualities with a minimum of four years of relevant experience. - Close collaboration with Project Managers and Program Managers. This position is based in Pune, with opportunities for travel to other locations in India and beyond. You will also be responsible for analyzing user requirements, consultation with the project manager on system and architecture issues, and developing suggestions for a technically and commercially optimal system concept. To excel in this role, you should have a good understanding/knowledge of railway principles and standards, Systems Engineering lifecycle, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Leadership qualities, experience of at least >4 years, and familiarity with processes at the System and Subsystem levels are also essential. Collaboration with the Project Manager and Program Manager will be crucial for success in this role. This position is based in Pune, with opportunities to visit other locations in India and beyond.
