Cattle Nutrition Manager

As a professional in the field of Animal Nutrition at Japfa Comfeed India Pvt Ltd., your primary responsibility will be to enhance the productivity of farmers by providing them with optimally formulated products at a competitive cost. You will collaborate with the Sales & Technical Service Team to offer technical assistance to farmers and play a crucial role in expanding the network and awareness of the animal feed business. Your duties will include diagnosing and treating various diseases in cattle, organizing seasonal farmers" meetings, and educating them on the best practices in the cattle industry. It will be imperative for you to maintain detailed records of clinical observations, environmental factors, and cattle management data. You will be expected to analyze livestock behavior, conduct inspections, and evaluate milk/feed quality along with relevant data. Furthermore, your role will involve evaluating competitor feeds, suggesting improvements, and addressing customer complaints promptly. Ensuring strict sanitary measures before, during, and after procedures will also be part of your responsibilities. Your proficiency in cattle feed formulation, industry networking, technical service management, customer complaint resolution, and farm management techniques will be critical for success in this role. A background in B.V.S.C / M.V.S.C Animal Nutrition coupled with at least 5 years of experience in animal nutrition/formulation processes will be necessary. Excellent communication skills, the ability to engage with a large number of farmers, technical expertise, and a willingness to travel and work in rural areas are essential qualities for this position. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a dynamic and result-oriented approach, will be key to your success. Additionally, leadership qualities and proficiency in the local language will be advantageous.
