As a Gaushala Supervisor at Gau Dham Chakulia, East India's largest Gaushala, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing individual wards within the sanctuary which is home to 20,000+ rescued cattle. Dhyan Foundation is looking for dedicated individuals to join our mission of selfless service and cow protection, where rescued cattle are provided sanctuary from smuggling and illegal slaughter, with the support of law enforcement agencies including the BSF. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the daily operations of assigned cattle wards, ensuring proper fodder distribution, feeding schedules, and cleanliness, monitoring and coordinating medical treatment and veterinary care, maintaining accurate stock records of fodder, supplies, and medicines, supervising support staff, and reporting regularly to the management team. To be successful in this role, prior experience in animal care, agriculture, dairy, or related fields is preferred. You should have a basic knowledge of cattle handling and care, strong leadership and organizational skills, and be willing to work in rural settings with sincerity and commitment. This is a full-time, on-site position located at Gau Dham Chakulia, Jharkhand.
