The Engineering, Design, and New Product Development (NPD) Head is responsible for leading the Process design, product development, process Engineering & Tool Development/Maintenance for the Construction Equipment Cabin Manufacturing & Fabrication Unit. The role ensures that new product designs meet customer requirements, comply with regulatory standards, and align with organizational objectives. The incumbent drives innovation, improves product quality, reduces time-to-market, and ensures seamless coordination between internal teams and external partners. The role is also responsible for responding to customer RFQs on time, convincing customers on prototype costs, fixture and tooling costs, and part costs. 1. Innovation & Technology Upgradation Identify and adopt emerging technologies in design and manufacturing. Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize product performance and cost. Project Management & Timely Delivery Manage new product development projects within timelines and budgets. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution. Track project milestones and ensure timely resolution of design & process challenges. Customer Collaboration & Feedback Management Engage with customers to understand product requirements and expectations. Incorporate customer feedback to refine product designs.
