As a Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and improving our product designs using industry-leading software tools such as CAD, CAM, and AutoCAD. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and translate them into practical and feasible solutions. Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create detailed 2D and 3D models of equipment components and assemblies. Employ CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to generate machining paths and optimize manufacturing processes. Develop design concepts, sketches, and prototypes to validate functionality and performance. Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and specifications. Collaborate with production engineers to ensure manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and efficient production processes. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve design quality and performance. Create technical documentation, including design drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and assembly instructions. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to select appropriate materials and components for designs. Stay updated with the latest advancements in CAD/CAM technologies, tools, and best practices. Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues during the manufacturing and assembly processes. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing design enhancements and optimization strategies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Design Engineer, preferably in the equipment manufacturing industry. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Pro/ENGINEER) for creating 2D and 3D models. Strong knowledge and expertise in CAM software (e.g., ViziCAM, Mastercam, NX CAM) for generating machining paths. Proficient in AutoCAD for creating and editing technical drawings. Solid understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Ability to interpret and analyze technical specifications and requirements. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
