What you ll do: Position s main focus will be to prepare technical design details & drawings in compliance to drawing standards as per industry standards and prevailing engineering practices for Aerospace. Creation of 3D models and drawings of the new product designs and modification of existing product drawings and models. Person in this position must have working knowledge of CAD tools such as Pro/E Creo, Solid works, CATIA and AutoCAD, assembly, detailing to prepare CAD models and complete detailed design/drawings. Must have hands on experience in automobile domain having worked on BIW closure (Door, Tailgate & Hood) systems and their subsystem designs. Basic understanding of Design/ Design changes on Door, Tailgate & Hood parts (Inner /Outer panel, Reinforcement, Hinges etc.) for Automotive Sector. At least one complete project execution of Door, Tailgate & Hood parts experience for passenger car project added advantage. Candidate should be experienced in Catia and PLM softwares like Team center. Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA etc. Good technical knowledge of automotive Sheet metal parts, manufacturing and assembly -process.
