Company Description Catalysts for Social Action is an Indian NGO dedicated to creating a brighter future for children under institutional care since 2002. We leverage existing institutions and collaborate with individuals, child care institutions, and corporates to enhance the quality of care for over 21,000 children. Our mission is to ensure family-like care, improve adoption rates, support children in their transition to independent living, and advocate for government policy implementation. By focusing on holistic and sustainable change, we aim to nurture children into happy, contributing members of society. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Program Officer located in Koraput. The Senior Program Officer will oversee the implementation of child care programs, ensure compliance with organizational standards, and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve program objectives. Responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating program outcomes, providing support for adoption processes, facilitating transition programs for independent living, and advocating for policy support. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and effective communication to drive systemic and sustainable change. Qualifications Program Management, Monitoring, and Evaluation skills Experience in Child Care and Adoption Processes Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration skills Strong Leadership and Strategic Planning skills Effective Communication and Advocacy skills Ability to work on-site in Koraput Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Child Development, or related field; Master's degree preferred Experience in NGO or social work settings is beneficial
