Role & responsibilities 1.Floating RFQs and getting quotes for addditional and Alt. sourcing 2.Development of parts as per the add/alt. sourcing/Derisking time plan and coordinating with internal agencies like QA/SQA for approval 3.To support in achieving material cost reduction thru MACK & VA-VE projects by closely working with R&D and suppliers. 4.Should be able to make Costing sheet(ZBC) and support in commercial finalization & negotiation with suppliers 5.Coordination with R&D,IPC, SQA, Supplier, Layout & Plant team for ECM(VA/VE) implementation as per time plan 6.Should be well versed with SAP 7.MIS generation and dashboard preparation for functional KRAs on Fortnightly/monthly basis To work closely with R&D for idea generation, idea evaluation and convert the identified projects to ECNs, develop parts and support till the desired ramp-up.

Design engineer required with knowledge of using solid works for designing of mechanical parts and assembly. With ability to read and understanding 2D drawings and further conversation to 3D. Should have good command of solidworks design and should be able to imagine and create new components. Preference to mechanical engineers or persons with knowledge of fabrication, CNC machining and tooling. Ability to design casting , steel welded fabrication and precision steel components.
