We are hiring for our client a leading leading Steel Cast components manufacturing company (MNC) Position: Development / Casting Engineer Experience: 5 - 18 years Qualification: Dip/B.E,B.Tech - Mechanical Location : Viralimalai,Trichy Job Type: Permanent Walk in : 21st Sep 2025 (Sunday) @ Coimbatore Job Description: Key Responsibilities : 1. Responsible for new product (casting) development 2. Improvement of existing castings 3. To manage customer complaints related to casting defects 1. New Product (casting) Development Carry flexibility study (tolerance, complexities, infrastructure, new grade etc.,) upon receiving the RFQ from the marketing department. Preparation of detailed technology of pattern layout and sharing with patter shop. Follow up with a pattern shop for the purchase order. Creation of SAP codes for the new castings. Preparation of PPAP documents and submit to customers and also preparation of process sheet for internal process.. Prepare and issue route cards to the planning department. Witness all core making, mould making and core assembly mould and pouring. Follow up with First stage, HT, felting, NDT test and dimensional layout and ensure the castings are as per customer requirements. Identify and suggest defective castings for re-work with support from the MAGMA team and Technical Head. Customer offering of sample coatings to customers. To analyse and identify quality issues / clarifications in the PNCR from customers. Finalisation of castings for bulk production with Technical Head's approval. Ensure daily production as per casting process parameters. Plan & monitor heat treatment cycles and equipment maintenance. Manage shift manpower and coordinate with vendors during breakdowns. Maintain 5S and cleanliness in the department. Required Candidate profile 3+ years of foundry experience in melting/fettling/moulding. Hands-on knowledge of casting processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Title: Engineer New Product Development (NPD) Department: NPD Reports To: DGM – NPD Job Summary: Responsible for planning, designing, and developing new plastic products as per customer requirements. This includes end-to-end product development, managing multiple projects, and ensuring adherence to engineering standards and manufacturing feasibility. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop plastic products (injection molding) from concept to production. Create and manage BOMs and design documentation. Review product engravings, labeling, and markings. Conduct trials, test prototypes, and troubleshoot issues during development and mass production. Coordinate with tooling vendors and calibrate molding parameters. Ensure product quality and compliance through the stage-gate process and DFM principles. Qualifications: B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical / Tool & Die making. 3+ years of experience in plastic injection molding, die casting, or automotive components. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
