Job Title: Engineer - Area Incharge Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance Work Area: Smelter-Off-Gas/AF+CW (Anode Furnace + Cast-Wheel) Key Responsibilities: Plan and maintain daily maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks. Manage and oversee smooth maintenance activities across assigned plant areas. Prepare and submit detailed maintenance reports as per project requirements. Support the Site Manager in implementing and adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. Maintain a harmonious working environment by motivating and guiding team members effectively. Raise requisitions for spare parts, ensuring all technical specifications are met. Contribute to energy conservation initiatives and ensure efficient use of resources. Project Scope: The project involves mechanical maintenance activities at a 900 KTPA Copper Smelting and Refining Plant, including: Major Units: Concentrate storage, Flash smelting furnace, Flash converting furnace, Anode furnace, Sulfuric acid plant, Electrolytic refinery, Precious metal recovery units, air separation unit, and effluent treatment plants. Major Equipment: Conveyor belts, crushers, steam dryers, SAG mills, robotic systems, cryogenic systems, waste heat recovery boilers, pumps, compressors, firefighting systems, and more. Preferred Skills & Knowledge Areas: Maintenance experience in large processing plants, especially smelter plants. Strong technical expertise in handling mechanical maintenance of complex systems. Proven ability to lead teams and manage operations effectively. Familiarity with smelting plants, gas cleaning systems, sulfuric acid plants, and related refinery operations.
