As an Engineer with 8 to 10 years of experience in Cassandra DB, you will be responsible for leveraging your advanced and expert knowledge in Cassandra DB to perform hands-on administrative tasks. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that Cassandra DB resources are appropriately sized and implementing a design strategy to maintain a healthy database size. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the availability and performance of multi-database and application environments that handle very large volumes and sizes of data. Routine DBA tasks such as database maintenance, backups, recovery, table space management, and upgrades will also fall under your purview. Additionally, you will be expected to conduct periodic health checks on databases, identifying areas for improvement and recommending changes to be implemented in the production environment to ensure optimal and efficient performance. Your proactive approach to driving growth by identifying opportunities to enhance value in both new and existing DB environments will be crucial to the success of the team. This position is based in Chennai and requires a Bachelor's Degree qualification.
