As a Desktop Support Technician specializing in Apple Mac based systems, related software, and peripherals, you will be responsible for integrating Mac systems into a Windows-based corporate environment. Experience with products like Casper and Centrify is highly desired. Your role will involve supporting the hardware of desktops, laptops, and connected peripherals. Additionally, you will provide Level 1 & 2 application support on these machines. You will also handle Level 1 & 2 support for phones and networks, taking ownership of support from the switch port to the desk, including physical phones. Conference room support for A/V equipment, including projectors and video conferencing gear, will also be part of your responsibilities. In this position, you will engineer solutions such as image creation and distribution, conduct testing for other support teams, test any technical components that interact with the desktop, and be accountable for establishing new standards and support models.
