We are looking for a high-impact Head of Sales to lead our growing team of Accommodation Experts. In this role, you will be the strategic backbone of our revenue operations, directly managing 5 Team Leaders who oversee a total workforce of ~50 sales experts. Your primary mission is to maximize conversions . You will move beyond simple team management to analyze the sales funnel, optimize lead allocation, and build a high-performance culture that helps students find their home abroad. You are a data-driven leader who knows how to scale sales operations while maintaining a high quality of service. Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India Years of Experience: Min. 9 years Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership & Management Manage the Managers: Lead, mentor, and coach 5 Team Leaders (TLs). Ensure they are effectively managing their respective squads (approx. 8 experts each) to hit daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Performance Culture: Foster a culture of accountability and high energy. Standardize KRA/KPI monitoring across all teams to ensure consistency in performance. Hiring & Training: Oversee the recruitment of new talent and the continuous training of existing staff. Build a training playbook that reduces ramp-up time for new joiners. 2. Conversion Optimization & Sales Operations Funnel Mastery: Deeply analyze the sales funnel from "Lead In" to "Booking Confirmed." Identify leakage points and implement tactical fixes to improve conversion rates. Process Improvement: Refine the consultative sales pitch. Ensure experts are not just "taking orders" but proactively guiding students through the booking process. Incentive Structure: Design and manage lucrative, motivating commission structures that align with business goals (e.g., focus on specific properties, destinations, or booking speeds). Tech Enablement: Ensure the team is maximizing the usage of our CRM and telephony systems. Use data to drive decisions on lead distribution and dialer strategies. 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration Supply Feedback: Act as the feedback loop between customers (students) and our Supply/Partnership teams regarding pricing, inventory availability, and student preferences. Marketing Alignment: Work closely with Marketing to grade lead quality and provide feedback on lead sources to optimize Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC). Candidate Requirements Experience & Background 9–14 years of total sales experience, with at least 4+ years in a leadership role managing large teams (experience managing managers is a must). Industry Fit: Prior experience in EdTech, Study Abroad, PropTech, or High-Velocity B2C Sales is highly preferred. Scale: Proven track record of managing a sales organization of 50+ people and scaling revenue. Skills & Competencies Data-Driven: You are comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and CRM dashboards. You don't guess; you look at the conversion metrics, talk time, and connection rates to make decisions. Operational Mindset: You understand that sales is a science. You can build standard operating procedures (SOPs) that make the sales process repeatable and scalable. Empathy & Grit: You understand the emotional aspect of students moving abroad and can translate that into a consultative sales approach. Why Join Us?
