Core Responsibilities: Handling Transactions: Processing cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system. Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Cash Handling: Accurately making change, balancing the cash drawer, and maintaining a secure cash handling environment. Order Taking: Assisting with taking customer orders, particularly for takeout or to-go orders. Maintaining Order: Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked. Inventory Management: Assisting with basic inventory tasks like restocking supplies.
