Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Handle daily customer billing and payments through POS system or billing software.
Collect cash, card, UPI, or other payment modes and issue accurate receipts.
Maintain daily cash summary and reconcile with system reports.
Deposit daily cash collection as per company guidelines.
Coordinate with the sales and accounts teams for payment verification and discrepancies.
Manage refunds, exchanges, and credit note transactions as per company policy.
Maintain proper documentation and records of sales, receipts, and petty cash.
Assist customers politely and maintain a professional attitude at the counter.
Ensure that the billing counter area is neat, organized, and secure.
Report any irregularities or cash shortages to management immediately.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 12th Pass / Graduate in Commerce preferred.
1–2 years of experience as a cashier in a retail or mobile store.
Basic computer and billing software knowledge (POS / Tally / Excel).
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Honest, punctual, and responsible.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Vadodara, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

Cashiering: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
