Role & responsibilities

Cash Handling:

Receive and process payments from customers in the form of cash, credit cards, or other approved methods.
Count and verify cash transactions to ensure accuracy.
Provide change and receipts to customers as needed.
Ensure that the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift.

Customer Service:

Resolve customer complaints or issues related to payments in a timely and efficient manner.

Transaction Recording:

Accurately record all transactions in the cash register and maintain detailed records.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions related to tours and services.

Compliance and Security:

Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to cash handling and financial transactions.
Follow security protocols to safeguard cash and other financial assets.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other team members, including tour guides, customer service representatives, and management.
Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless coordination of financial activities.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role.
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and experience with cash register systems.
