Job Description

Role Overview: As a Cashier at the company, you will play a crucial role in providing efficient and friendly customer service. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers, processing transactions accurately, maintaining a clean checkout area, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers upon their arrival, assist them in finding products, and answer any queries they may have. - Ensure pricing accuracy, apply discounts or promotions when required, and bag items neatly for customers. - Keep the checkout area clean and organized, including the counter, register, and surrounding space. - Address customer complaints professionally, escalating issues to management if necessary. - Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift and resolve any discrepancies. - Adhere to company policies and procedures for cash handling, returns, and exchanges. - Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management for replenishment. - Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations and deliver excellent customer service. Qualifications: - Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred. - Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems. - Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required. - High school diploma or equivalent.
