You will be responsible for managing 1-2 Associate Fund Accountants or Fund Accountants, overseeing their growth and leveraging your prior job experience. Your role will involve broadening accounting, finance, and analytical skills while supervising and mentoring your team. You will also be required to train new employees, provide direction, and help prioritize work assignments. As part of your duties, you will administer, report, review, and ensure understanding of industry standards. Additionally, you will be expected to respond to auditor queries and enhance communication and interaction with clients and their investors. Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for investors, consultants, and other stakeholders, encompassing financial information, performance returns, operations, and variance analysis. Furthermore, you will be tasked with calculating and reviewing various performance returns, supporting and coordinating cash distributions on behalf of clients, and reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting accounting records and financial statements to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards for audit reports. You will also be required to sign off as a reviewer on SOC1 checklist and support SOC external audit requests, ensuring compliance with internal audit procedures and requests. To enhance your leadership skills, you will have the opportunity to lead projects and provide valuable input. It is essential to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the governing agreements between Alter Domus, the clients, and their investors, reviewing documents in compliance with client agreements.,
