The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. This is a unique opportunity to work on international-scale projects from concept to completion, focusing on state-of-the-art solid granulation production facilities. If you have deep expertise in fertilizer granulation processes and are looking for a challenging role where your skills will be pivotal to project success, we want to hear from you. What You Will Do: - Perform detailed process design and engineering for granulation plants producing NPK fertilizers, Ammonium Nitrate, Ammonium Sulphate, and Phosphate fertilizers. - Develop and optimize P&IDs, heat and mass balances, and equipment specifications for key unit operations: * Drum Granulators * Dryers & Coolers * Fluidized Bed Systems *Gas Scrubbing Units (e.g., Venturi, Packed Columns) *Solid Handling Systems (e.g., conveyors, elevators, screens) - Provide technical expertise during various project phases: Basic Engineering, Detailed Engineering, commissioning, and startup. - Collaborate with a global team of engineers to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions to clients worldwide. Requirements: - B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering. - 12+ years of proven experience in process design and engineering, specifically within the fertilizer industry. - Hands-on experience with solid granulation process units is mandatory: drum granulation, drying, cooling, fluidized beds, and scrubbing systems. - Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and engineering software. - Strong understanding of P&ID development, equipment sizing, and safety standards. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
