Role & responsibilities Job Title: After Sales Service Team Leader Department: After Sales Service (TMS) Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai Reports To: Service Manager Job Summary: The After Sales Service Team Leader is responsible for leading and managing a team of service professionals including Carpenters, Polishing Technicians, and General Technicians. The role involves ensuring high-quality service delivery, effective communication, adherence to service standards, and continuous improvement through methodologies like 5S and Kaizen. Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technicians and carpenters. Monitor team performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and service guidelines. Service Operations: Oversee after-sales service operations, including carpentry, polishing, and technical repairs. Ensure timely and quality resolution of customer complaints and requests. Maintain and monitor Work-In-Progress (WIP) to achieve timely completion of tasks. Technical Skills Management: Provide guidance and training to the team on carpentry, polishing, and technical repairs. Implement 5S and Kaizen principles for improving operational efficiency. Maintain and update technical knowledge and skills relevant to the role. Communication & Coordination: Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues and provide updates. Prepare and present reports on service operations and improvements. Process Improvement: Identify areas of improvement and implement best practices using Kaizen. Ensure compliance with organizational standards and continuous development programs. Job Summary Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborate with architects and engineers to understand design and drawing requirements of construction and interior projects. Produce detailed technical drawings, review and modify existing drawings, conduct site visits, mentor junior draftsmen and maintain project documentation. Responsibilities 1. Prepare accurate working drawings from hand sketches, concept/scheme designs and 3D models. 2. Read architectural designs and produce test-fit layouts, general arrangements and detailed drawings. 3. Coordinate with consultants - structural, MEP, etc. for design integration. 4. Coordinate with vendors and contractors during design execution. 5. Create and update project drawings list on a regular basis. 6. Thorough review of drawings before being sent to the execution team. 7. Assist in preparing BOQ and material specifications. 8. Create, modify archive and control revision of drawings. 9. Conduct site visits to collect data and verify that project drawings align with construction requirements. 10. Understand project status and accordingly plan drawing deliverables schedule. 11. Maximise quality and productivity of design/drawing deliverables. Requirements 1. A diploma holder in architecture or civil engineering having 8 to 10 years of drafting experience in architecture and interior projects. 2. Strong understanding of drafting standards, building codes and construction methods including false ceiling, flooring, tiling, carpentry, fixtures and furniture. 3. Strong problem solving skills and work under deadlines. 4. Proficiency in Autocad; competent in Sketch-up and MS-Office applications. 5. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and mentor junior staff. 6. Effective presentation and communication skills, both written and oral.
