Your primary duty as a Draftsman will involve generating technical drawings and plans based on the specifications provided by designers. Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software alongside traditional drafting tools, you will be responsible for producing precise and detailed drawings that act as a blueprint for interior projects. Additionally, possessing the skill to create a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) would be considered advantageous. Key Responsibilities: - Proficient in creating Modular and carpentry drawings. - Capable of working with measurements in millimeters as well as feet and inches. - Utilize CAD software and drafting tools to develop precise and detailed technical drawings, encompassing plans, elevations, sections, and details. - Interpret sketches, rough drawings, or specifications provided by designers for drawing creation. - Adhere to drafting standards and guidelines set by the organization or relevant industry. - Ensure consistency and accuracy in drawing scales, dimensions, and annotations. - Collaborate with architects and designers to comprehend project requirements and objectives. - Effectively communicate to clarify design intent and resolve any issues or discrepancies. - Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth integration of drawings across various disciplines. - Verify dimensions, materials, and other details to minimize errors and rework.
