Caretaker - Residential

About the Role:

Ankitgram Sewadham Ashram is seeking dedicated and compassionate caretakers to support over 1100 residents—many of whom are mentally ill, differently-abled, elderly, or terminally ill. The role is service-oriented and requires patience, empathy, and a spirit of seva.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with daily tasks (bathing, dressing, feeding)
• Providing emotional care and companionship
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene
• Helping in routine activities and Ashram duties

Eligibility:

• Prior experience as a caregiver preferred but not mandatory
• Willingness to live and serve full-time on campus
• Patience, compassion, and a team spirit are essential

Our Ashram maintains a strictly vegetarian environment and does not allow alcohol, smoking, or intoxicants. Only candidates who fully respect these values should apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Volunteer

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
