Job Description

**Title: Caregiver*

Provide attentive, compassionate, and age-appropriate care to children within the centre, ensuring their safety, comfort, hygiene, and emotional well-being throughout the day while maintaining a nurturing and supportive environment.
Assist children during naptime and feeding activities by helping them settle comfortably, supervising rest periods, supporting feeding routines, and ensuring cleanliness and proper hygiene before, during, and after meals.
Support children with daily personal care activities such as escorting them to the washroom, assisting with handwashing, toilet routines, and ensuring that children follow basic hygiene practices appropriate to their age.
Perform diaper changing duties for infants and toddlers in a safe, hygienic, and timely manner, following centre guidelines to ensure cleanliness, comfort, and prevention of infections or discomfort.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms, play areas, and activity spaces by cleaning, arranging toys, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring a safe and tidy environment before leaving the centre each day.
Observe childrens behavior and needs, promptly addressing minor concerns, informing supervisors of any issues, and cooperating with team members to ensure smooth daily operations within the childcare facility.
