Responsibilities : Perform complex surgical procedures on infants, children, and adolescents with congenital or acquired heart conditions. Evaluate and diagnose pediatric cardiac conditions through clinical assessments and diagnostic imaging. Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and critical care teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Provide pre-operative counseling and post-operative care to patients and families. Ensure the highest standards of surgical techniques, safety, and sterility during operations. Monitor post-surgical recovery and address complications as they arise. Maintain accurate and timely medical records and surgical reports. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to improving patient outcomes. Train and supervise junior doctors, surgical residents, and support staff as needed. Stay updated with advancements in pediatric cardiac surgery through continuing education and research involvement.
