Job Summary
A Cardiologist is required to diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases of the heart and blood vessels. This role involves both long-term patient management for chronic illnesses and responding to life-threatening emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage conditions such as angina, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hypertension.Prescribe medication, conduct diagnostic tests (e.g., echocardiograms), and interpret results.Perform specialized procedures like cardiac catheterization and stent placements.Provide ongoing support and advice to patients under long-term care.Collaborate with other specialists to deliver integrated patient care.
Requirements
MBBS degree and a postgraduate degree (MD/DNB) in Cardiology.
Proven experience in a hospital or clinical cardiology setting.Valid medical license and registration.
