Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse

You will be responsible for the following in this role: - Implementing and maintaining established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. - Providing pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stenting, and other interventional procedures. - Performing comprehensive patient assessments, including cardiac and neurological evaluations. - Administering medications, including sedatives and pain management agents, as per protocol. - Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs, neurological status, and response to treatment during procedures. - Assisting in the preparation and positioning of patients for procedures. - Assisting cardiologists and other team members during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including setting up sterile fields, handling instruments, and operating specialized equipment. - Ensuring the availability and proper functioning of all necessary equipment and supplies. - Maintaining sterile techniques and adhering to infection control policies and procedures. - Preparing and managing medications used during procedures. Preferred candidate profile: - Minimum 3 years of experience as Staff Nurse in Cath Lab from any reputed accredited hospital.
