Job Description of the Role: Sustainability Resource Requirement & Credentials: Job Purpose requirement: The manager will be responsible for executing sustainability initiatives and projects & Sustainability Reporting and Disclosure related practices and processes within the Organization. Position Details Position: M anager Sustainability Reports to: Head- Sustainability Experience: Minimum 7 to 8 years (5+ years of relevant sustainability experience) Department: Environment, Health and Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) Location: Mumbai Educational Background: Masters or Bachelors degree in Engineering (Environment / Chemical etc) or Masters Degree in Sustainability Immediate joinee preferred Duties & Responsibilities To contribute in supporting with working on initiatives and analysis of information to achieve the commitment of Carbon reduction, Water Neutrality and Zero waste to landfill. Act as single point of contact for Sustainability, monitoring emerging trends in the Sustainability domain, best practices, and issues Ensure appropriate internal controls and measurement systems takes place in the organization Support in developing Integrated Report (IR), Business Responsibility Report & Sustainability Report (BRSR) as per applicable guidelines and regulations Reporting on disclosures like Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and Task Force on Climate Related Disclosure (TCFD) Preparation of the sites for assurance visits including conducting an internal assessment Application writing for various Sustainability awards Provide support on sustainability related information and requirement to different departments and for business requirements Collaboration with cross functional departments to work on sustainability projects Monitor sustainability performance using data to report on energy use, carbon footprint, waste management and other metrics. Track and implement actions from various reports ( TCFD/TNFD) and keep the reports relevant to the times Key Skills Technical skills: Proficiency in sustainability related disclosures Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data Knowledge in RE regulations Have deep understanding of Scope-3 and SBTi Understanding of Environmental related statutory requirements Competencies Subject matter expert on Sustainability & Climate Change Conduct research (field level research, issues & concerns being addressed globally under ESG, environmental responsibility, best practices by corporate and other entities) to contribute to the formulation of effective strategy. A clear understanding of emerging concepts like Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Carbon pricing, IR, Natural Capital Accounting, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), Water Neutrality etc. Good project management and partnership management skills Strong ability to build relationships, interface with a large number of people and network with people and institutions in ESG & sustainability

Skills and qualifications required A masters degree in environmental engineering, sustainability, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in climate risk or ISO standards are highly desirable. Position Title: Senior Technologist Carbon Abatement Functional Area: Technology CoE Reporting To: Head Tech Carbon Abatement Job Grade: H Location: Navi Mumbai Job Purpose Senior Technologist Carbon Abatement will execute identification and implementation of low-carbon sustainable technology projects and initiatives for Carbon Abatement / Green Fuels & Chemicals as per the defined strategy & plans, by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organization's sustainability goals and targets. Job Accountabilities Assess new technologies in the field of green/low-carbon product technologies, energy conservation, and climate change applicable for refining and petrochemical industry. Evaluate CO2 capture technologies to identify optimal solution for a variety of CO2 emission sources from refining and petrochemical units. Evaluate CO2 utilization technologies & solutions to produce sustainable feedstocks, chemicals, fuels and materials. Perform process engineering review of technical bids, Basic Engineering Packages (BEP) and detail engineering design documents. Participate in the complete process design of CO2 capture & utilization projects at Reliance, starting from concept development, feasibility studies, pre-FEED, FEED and EPC. Apply basic scientific and engineering fundamentals and concepts to develop practical solutions to technological challenges. Perform techno-economic feasibility of new projects using market research, technical due-diligence and financial modelling approach. Draft / review publications (paper/patent) and oral presentations and assimilate technical articles for technology evaluation. Track & participate in technical programs/seminars/webinar to remain updated with the developments in the field. Skill & Competencies Proven experience in gas separation technologies. Working experience in carbon capture technologies is an added advantage Proficient in process simulation, process modeling and optimization using Aspen Plus/ Hysys. A good understanding of the complete chain of carbon capture, utilization & storage (CCUS) technologies Knowledge and experience of technologies and challenges for developing lower carbon energy transition in energy and chemical sectors High level skills in process simulation, process modeling and optimization Curiosity and creativity, ability to learn and adapt in an agile way Self-starter and motivated Excellent inter-personal skills and strong analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with proven expertise in creating and reviewing high quality written documents. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deliver outputs on time. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Education Required : B. Tech. / M. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from a premier institute Experience Required : 8-10 years of total experience in Refining / Petrochemical / Fertilizer industry in Operations, Technical Services, Technology or R&D. Preferred minimum 3-5 years in technical bid proposal evaluation, technology assessment / benchmarking, process design & engineering, plant erection & commissioning of CO2 Capture projects. In-depth understanding of commercial and advanced CO2 Capture technologies and the trade-off of each for applications in flue gases from power plants & process furnaces, and refining & petrochemical off-gases, etc.
