About the Role CAR101 is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to join our growing team. As part of a fast-moving D2C startup, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the business with insights that drive smarter decisions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, takes full ownership of their work, and is excited to help build one of India’s most trusted car care brands. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in Tally or accounting software Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, ledger entries, and journal postings Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliance documents Manage vendor payments, invoices, purchase orders, and reconciliations Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, MIS) Collaborate with CA firms and finance consultants as needed Track inventory and costing in coordination with warehouse and ops teams Provide financial support to internal teams (marketing, operations, logistics) Requirements 1–2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in e-commerce or product-based businesses Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian tax laws Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting tools Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to manage multiple tasks independently Good communication skills (written and verbal) Good to Have Experience with Shopify, Razorpay, Shiprocket or similar e-commerce tools Passion for automobiles or interest in the D2C space Exposure to cost accounting or inventory-led operations What We Offer Flat hierarchy, high ownership, and learning-based environment Opportunity to work with a fast-growing consumer brand Flexible work culture (hybrid setup) Exposure to real-time decision-making in a startup ecosystem To Apply: DM us on LinkedIn Send your CV to hq@car101.in
