Capri Global - Java Developer - Backend Architecture

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Developer to become a valuable part of our technology team. As a Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java-based applications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to defining, designing, and implementing new features to ensure optimal performance, quality, and user experience. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java applications and microservices. You will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Java and related frameworks. Engaging in all phases of the software development lifecycle, you will be involved in analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment processes. Working closely with product managers, architects, and fellow developers, you will deliver high-quality solutions. Additionally, you will troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues promptly, conduct code reviews, and uphold code quality standards. Ensuring the security and performance of applications will also be a critical aspect of your role. To be successful in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and possess 3 to 7 years of experience in Java development. Proficiency in Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Hibernate/JPA is essential, along with hands-on experience in Microservices Architecture. Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle is required, as well as knowledge of Version Control Systems (Git) and CI/CD tools. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP will be advantageous. An understanding of Agile methodologies and previous experience working in Agile environments will also be beneficial. Desirable qualifications for this role include experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools, exposure to front-end technologies like JavaScript, React, or Angular, and knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Additionally, possessing certifications in Java or cloud technologies would be considered a valuable asset for this position.
